Slottsfjellsmuseet
Slottsfjellsmuseet is located at the foot of Castle Hill in Tonsberg, Norway and is dedicated to presenting regional history and has a strong focus on Viking and the King Era, as well as the history of Tonsberg. Come for a fascinating view of a rare Viking ship, the Klastad, which was built about A.D. 800, and a massive blue whale skeleton, which is a must see, the museum also covers the whaling era of the city. Slottsfjellsmuseet offers guided tours, and exhibitions include the civil war, Vestfold yard which was built in 1940-1950, the castle of the rock and so much more, come gain insights into the Middle Ages and more. There's also a museum shop with books and publications, costumes and jewellery, and the Kastellkafeen offers a spacious atmosphere with good food and cater to corporate meetings and banquets in the conference rooms and outdoor areas, also ideal for weddings and events.
