The Island County Historical Society Museum
The Island County Historical Society Museum on Whidbey Island in Coupville, Washington, USA welcomes you to visit and explore the rich history of this beautiful corner of the world where this fascinating history comes alive. The museum is located at the foot of the Coupeville Pier and features historic artifacts dating back to the ice age, they have thousands of items but only a small percentage can be displayed at one time, and there are native peoples artifacts as well as military items and items from Island county pioneers which includes furniture, clothing, medical equipment, signage, tools, dolls and much more. The Island County Historical Society Museum features archives and fascinating history and they welcome students, scholars, and those interested in history to come and explore this amazing resource, the Janet Enzmann Archives and Research Library are also housed here.
