Brightlingsea Harbour
Brightlingsea Harbour in Brightlingsea, Essex is a small mixed leisure and commercial port with a rich heritage going back, located within a nature conservation area of international importance, just a day sail from most ports on the Thames estuary. Ideally situated in Brightlingsea Creek close to the mouth of the Colne Estuary where it meets the Blackwater and Thames Estuaries, the harbour has around 500 berths and moorings, and welcomes visiting boats. Facilities include diesel fuel from a floating barge berth and laundry facilities, dinghy storage in the boat park in either hard standing spaces or racks, fresh water, launching over the town hard, maintenance posts located on the Town Hard, sewerage pump out systems, showers and waste disposal. Brightlingsea Harbour offers water taxi services, a waterside marina and sailing clubs, it's all here.
