Wirral Transport Museum and Heritage Tramway in Birkenhead, Wirral is open with trams running every Saturday and Sunday from 1:00 pm, and their mission is to preserve the heritage and legacy of Wirral's transport history. This working museum features Trams, Buses, Cars, Bikes and Model Railways, it's a place for you to marvel, see, touch and ride. This award winning museum houses wonderful collections and preserves buses, trams and other local transport related vehicles, they also boast a running tramway with trams dating from as early as 1901, come view the fleet.
