    St. Vincent National Wildlife Refuge in Apalachicola, Florida, USA was initially established for waterfowl but now includes the protection of habitat for endangered species in as natural state as possible. Comprised of two islands with highly varied plant and animal communities, they are even home to a pair of red wolves part of the red wolf recovery program. St. Vincent National Wildlife Refuge is excellent for recreational activities like fishing, hunting, wildlife viewing, hiking, bicycling, kayaking, and nature photography, and is an important stop over for neotropical migratory birds, plus they hold several hunts on portions of the refuge.
