Winterbourne House and Garden in Edgbaston, Birmingham is a Grade II listed botanical garden, located on seven acres of year round colorful splendour. There are a myriad of plants on display which have been gathered from places like China, North and South America as well as the alpine areas of the world. Winterbourne House and Garden has a programme of public garden events that take place throughout the year, such as special interest tours, local heritage days and music concerts. The house and garden was bequeathed to the University of Birmingham in 1944, and to this day is still used by students, as well as being open to the public for their enjoyment.
