At Greene King Brewery in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, we are as proud of our heritage, traditions and beers as our brewing ancestors of years gone by, and we have expanded on the traditional craft of brewing to exciting new heights, by producing what we consider to be the finest range of cask ales. We are fortunate to be located in the sunny climate and fertile soils of Suffolk, an area that produces the best malting barley, and we are also fortunate to be able to draw water from the artesian chalk wells which are situated below our brew house. Visitors take an interesting journey back in time when they visit our museum and discover that brewing in our town traces back to the eleventh century. Take a guided tour of the Brew House and discover how beer is brewed with the use of natural ingredients and traditional brewing methods. Our evening tours are great ways of entertaining guests, whether for birthday parties, retirement functions or hen nights.
