Bicton Countryside Museum in Exeter, invites visitors to take a walk down memory lane with their displays of restored artefacts and rural life machinery of yesteryear. The museum has something of interest for visitors of all ages, such as vintage machinery, traction engines, traditional tools and domestic memorabilia. During the 19th century Bicton was a bustling estate, and employees showed their skills in developing the ornamental gardens, running the farm, planting gardens for kitchen use, managing the woodlands and maintaining the mansion. The museum has exhibits which effectively display all of these jobs.
