Brecon Cathedral
Brecon Cathedral in Brecon, Wales, was built by the Normans in 1093, and after an interesting journey through history, became a Cathedral in 1923. The Heritage Centre at Brecon Cathedral is a 17th century tithe barn that has been beautifully restored, and is home to an interesting exhibition depicting the history of the Priory Church, and is available for wedding receptions, meetings and many other functions. Penpont in Brecon, Wales, was built in 1666 and has a beautiful location on a working rural estate. In 1992, after extensive renovations, Penpont became a sought after destination for self catering vacations. The Courtyard Wing is located behind the main house, and with six bedrooms can comfortably accommodate up to 17 guests, has its own entrance, and is centrally heated throughout.
