Sampan
Sampan in Philadelphia, PA, is a small, cozy restaurant where Chef Michael Shulson shares his passion for Asian cuisine with its tempting flavours, as he displays his highly skilled culinary talents in an open kitchen. Our restaurant has several dining options for either private or semi-private dining, depending on the occasion. The menu at Sampan is made up of a selection of small plates, which is a great way for guests to sample and share the various tempting dishes, and some of his signature dishes include Edamame Dumplings, with truffles, Thai chicken wings with pickles, mint and basil, and that all time favourite, Peking Duck with tamarind pancakes. Indeed a feast not to be missed. Our aim at Sampan is to introduce the American palate to the more exotic and unusual flavours of Asian cuisine.
