Harveys and Son Brewery2012-08-29
Located in Lewes, East Sussex, England, United Kingdom
Harveys and Son Brewery in Lewes, Sussex has been a family business for more than eight generations and over the years has built up a stellar reputation for its outstanding range of traditional cask ales that have become known as the champagne of beers. These unpasteurised ales are achieved, we believe, through the selection of the finest raw materials and brewed in a traditional brewhouse. Tours of the brewery are extremely popular, and there is a long waiting list, however, the actual tour is well worth the wait as it provides an interesting, relaxed opportunity for visitors to gain insight into the brewing process, and to ask question of our production staff. The spring water that is used for the brewing process is drawn from an artesian well located 60 feet below our premises and this water, combined with our yeast strain, produces a range of beers that satisfies the palate of every beer drinker. Harveys Brewery also stock wines from some of the well known traditional estates of Europe. READ MORE
