Aldridge Gardens in Hoover, Alabama, was officially opened to the public in June 2002. Having a public garden on their 30 acre estate had always been a dream of Kay and Eddie Aldridge, which dream eventually became a reality. Visit Aldridge Gardens and be enthralled by this woodland garden that showcases hydrangeas, camellias, and other plants indigenous to Alabama. Bring the whole family for a day's outing and enjoy a picnic in our lush grounds, or take a leisurely stroll around the five-acre lake, there is so much to see. Aldridge Gardens regularly organises interesting events which include plant sales, art shows, seminars, fishing days, scarecrow contests and concerts. Admission to these spectacular gardens is completely free.
