Adnams Brewery in Southwold, Suffolk, is located in an old Victorian building, and yet is one of the most modern breweries around, with ongoing refurbishments and replacements. At Adnams Brewery we are committed to preserving our environment by ensuring that our productions are as environmentally friendly as possible, with the use of a biodigester and the establishment of an eco-distribution centre. Our popular brewery tours are conducted 7 days a week, and visitors are able to view most parts of the brewery, including fermentation, the kegging line, and of course the all important tasting room. Your experienced guide will explain the process of making beer from malted barley and hop varieties, right up to the tasting of the finished product, and guests will also see the extent of brewing equipment that is used and where it is all housed. These tours are very popular, and booking is advised.
