The Domaine of Ray-Jane
The Domaine of Ray-Jane in Le Castellet, France, is a long standing family estate and winery that has been involved in wine-making since 1288. Here organic wines that are completely free of chemicals and weed killer are produced. The upgraded wine cellar at our estate and winery is suitably equipped with up to date technology, that includes three regulated stainless steel tanks used for maceration of wines, and an automatic pumping system. Grapes are hand-picked and then sorted in either the vineyard or at wine cellar reception, then cooled and pressed for wine-making in stainless steel tanks. A small museum onsite at The Domaine of Ray-Jane is home to an interesting, vast and unique collection of winemaking tools, and is well worth a visit.
