    No accommodation in the whole of the Shetland Islands can boast a location quite as spectacular as Sumburgh Lighthouse. The lighthouse is situated above the imposing cliffs of Sumburgh Head, an RSPB reserve which is home to over 10,000 seabirds in the summer months.


  • Sumburgh Head Nature Reserve

    Sumburgh Head Nature Reserve, on the southern-most tip of Mainland Shetland in Sumburgh offer viewing points, nature trails and lots of bird viewing options. The Reserve is a spectacular place to see nesting seabirds: fulmars on the cliff ledges, puffins perched outside their burrows and guillemots clustered on the rocks. Sumburgh Head is a great place to watch for whales and dolphins, particularly minke whales and orcas. Pet friendly park.
