The Ruscom Shores Conservation Area in Lakeshore, Ontario is an attractive marshland located alongside Lake St. Clair ideal for outdoor activities and enjoyment with a well managed trail. Enjoy tranquility, hiking, bird watching, cross country skiing and picnics, they have portable washroom facilities, parking, a viewing tower and picnic pavilion. The Ruscom Shores Conservation Area is only one of two marshes still in existence on the Essex County's north shoreline, and they support a habitation restoration area including a tallgrass prairie site. Come for peaceful walks in nature, relax and view the shorebirds, the waterfowl and more as well as many prairie plants, great for a day out in nature.
