The Bob Straub State Park
The Bob Straub State Park is located in Pacific City, Oregon with great beach access, parking and restrooms and exploring the Nestucca sand spit. The Nestucca River is loaded with Chinook salmon some as large as 50 pounds and a great salmon fishing adventure awaits. The Bob Straub State Park is the perfect place to visit for a picnic, a long walk on the beach, great fishing opportunities, and they even have horse trails, come view the wildlife, the marine mammals and birds, it's all here and open year round for day use.

The Cape Kiwanda State Natural Area in Pacific City, Oregon is part of the Three Capes Scenic Route along with Cape Meares and Cape Lookout and with hiking trails, beach access, and great fishing opportunities is the perfect place to spend an active day in beautiful surrounds, year round. To the south is the dory boat launching area and home of the Pacific Dory fleet, fascinating to watch, and to the north a perfect beach for picnicking.
