Jennings Brewery in Cockermouth, Cumbria, is a family concern that has been in existence since 1828, and has been in its present location since 1874. Jennings Brewery considers itself to be a traditional brewery in many ways, firstly by using pure lakeland water drawn from its own well, and secondly by using the finest natural ingredients which include Golding hops from Kent, English pale ale malt and Fuggles hops from Herefordshire. To discover how our ales are brewed, why not join us for an informative guided tour of the brewery and see first hand all the care and attention we put into our brewing process. And what better way to end an interesting tour than by sampling some of the super ales in our bar, the Old Cooperage, and then browsing in our Brewery shop for Jennings' ales, port, leisure wear and gifts
