The Costa Mesa Historical Society
The Costa Mesa Historical Society in Costa Mesa, California, was established in 1966 and this not for profit museum is home to an amazing collection of 70 000 items dating back to pre-historic times right up to the present day. A library and archive materials are available to organizations and researchers, and we also have a well stocked gift shop. Our historical society oversees the beautifully restored Diego Sepulveda Adobe located in Estancia Park, and this tourist attraction dates back to an unknown time and past. Interesting and informative guided tours of our museum and Diego Sepulveda Adobe are conducted by members of the historical society. The Costa Mesa Historical Society is a volunteer-run society dedicated to preserving and promoting the history of our town.
