Yorkeys Knob is a popular spot for water activities such as sailing, windsurfing, kite surfing and fishing. At the southern end of the beach is a creek that opens onto a large sandbar. At low tides it is possible to walk out to sea for hundreds of meters and have only your shins doused in water. This is also a very good fishing location.
