Symi is a small but historic Greek island and municipality. The island, along with the rest of the Dodecanese, changed hands several times in the 20th century: in 1912 the Dodecanese declared independence from the Ottomans as the Federation of the Dodecanese Islands though this was almost immediately occupied by Italy.

Binz is the largest seaside resort on the German island of Rügen. It lies between the Prorer Wiek and the Schmachter See in the south-east of the island. To the north of Binz stretches the Schmale Heide (the "narrow heath"), a tongue of land which joins the Muttland region of Rügen to the Jasmund peninsula. The land to the south and east of Binz is hilly, reaching a height of over 100m above sea level.

Shawnigan Lake is a lake on southern Vancouver Island, located to the west of Saanich Inlet and to the south of the Cowichan Valley region. It is the location of the village of Shawnigan Lake, British Columbia. Its aboriginal name in the Hunquminum language is Shaanii'us.

Little Conch Key also known as Walker's Island. Beginning in 1935, the site of a fishing camp for the Walker and Berner families of Miami. Walker's Island remained public domain until 1946 when the state put it up for sale. Paul Walker purchased it for $6,000 and barged a cottage over for a starter home. The Walkers used it as a weekend place until 1951 when he made it his full time residence. Walker built five cottages to rent and water pipeline shown above. His guests parked on the highway and were ferried to and from the island with a barge made of 48 steel drums powered by an outboard motor. Later, a causeway with a more permanent water line and electric power were added.

Roche Harbor, is a sheltered harbor on the northwest side of San Juan Island in San Juan County, Washington, United States, and the site of a resort of the same name. Roche Harbor sits along Haro Strait and United States - Canada border. The harbor itself provides one of the better protected anchorages in the islands. The harbor is surrounded on the east side by San Juan Island, on the north side by Pearl Island,and on the west and south sides by Henry Island. Most of the harbor is 35 to 45 feet (11 to 14 meters) deep. Roche Harbor has a small airport primarily used by local residents. The Roche Harbor marina is a designated Port of Entry for pleasure boats.

Beach Haven Gardens is situated between Spray Beach and Beach Haven Terrace and is bordered by 27th Street and 34th Street. As you travel Northeast towards Ship Bottom and the Causeway, the street numbers jump from 34th Street to 133rd as you leave Beach Haven Gardens and enter Beach Haven Terrace. This is because the streets Southwest of 34th were numbered from Beach Haven's Centre Street, while the roads beyond Beach Haven Gardens were numbered from Division Street in Surf City.
