Roche Harbor, is a sheltered harbor on the northwest side of San Juan Island in San Juan County, Washington, United States, and the site of a resort of the same name. Roche Harbor sits along Haro Strait and United States - Canada border. The harbor itself provides one of the better protected anchorages in the islands. The harbor is surrounded on the east side by San Juan Island, on the north side by Pearl Island,and on the west and south sides by Henry Island. Most of the harbor is 35 to 45 feet (11 to 14 meters) deep. Roche Harbor has a small airport primarily used by local residents. The Roche Harbor marina is a designated Port of Entry for pleasure boats.

Conch Key

Little Conch Key also known as Walker's Island. Beginning in 1935, the site of a fishing camp for the Walker and Berner families of Miami. Walker's Island remained public domain until 1946 when the state put it up for sale. Paul Walker purchased it for $6,000 and barged a cottage over for a starter home. The Walkers used it as a weekend place until 1951 when he made it his full time residence. Walker built five cottages to rent and water pipeline shown above. His guests parked on the highway and were ferried to and from the island with a barge made of 48 steel drums powered by an outboard motor. Later, a causeway with a more permanent water line and electric power were added.
