Schevingen is located on the western area of The Hague and is one of the major beach areas of the Netherlands. Scheveningen originally began as a fishing port and in the harbour you will still find modern fish trawlers, the harbour itself is very nice to visit with plenty of restaurants and bars. Scheveningen itself is a mix of small town and international feeling.
