The Bluff is situated just south of Durban in the province of KwaZulu Natal, South Africa.

"Bluff" means a cliff, headland, or hill usually by a body of water.

The bluff has the Indian Ocean on its one side and the Durban harbour on the other. Two main beaches: Brighton beach and Anstey's surf beach. It is a residential area of a more affluent type. Golf course and wetlands area with a large population of various bird species.
