Goodwood is a suburb situated between the northern and southern suburbs of Cape Town. It is 10 kilometres from the city centre and accessible from the N1, N7 and N2 highways. The suburb is probably best know for the fact that GrandWest Casino is right on its doorstep. This world-class facility has a traditional Cape design style and houses everything from a casino to an Olympic size ice rink. There are restaurants, a children's entertainment centre, clubs, pubs and shops. With a vast array of activities on offer, there is something for everybody, so if the weather is not particularly beach-friendly, pop into the GrandWest for a fun day and evening out.
