Pantai Tengah, about 500 metres south of Pantai Cenang is a great place if you're looking for somewhere to simply chill out. Accommodation consists of low key chalets with more upscale resorts recently built. Not ideal swimming conditions due to its position on the bay, but picturesque and quiet.

Pantai Tengah, which literally means Middle Beach, is the next best beach after Pantai Cenang. This vibrant beach is sited about 550 mtrs south of Cenang in Langkawi. It is quieter than the latter one and that's why, it makes the right place to lighten up. Its crystal clear waters entice people to come in, excepting monsoons when the waters get murky. This picturesque beach is apt to take long walks while holding the hand of your beloved in the moonlight.

Here accommodation is easily available at the luxurious resorts and low key chalets to meet you needs. However, the beach is not actually apposite for swimming due to the existence of jellyfish. You will find everything such as retails shops, ice-cream parlors, restaurants and fast-food outlets to serve you the best while you enjoy your holiday. As far as shopping is concerned, there are a few souvenir shops along the beach from where you can get some really nice items.
