Luenersee

At the end of the valley you'll find the pearl of the Ratikon mountain range, the fresh water Lunersee Lake, a perfect starting point to a vast variety of walks or take a break at the Douglasse hut for refreshments at the lakeside terrace.

The Luenersee is (was) the biggest natural lake of the Eastern alps (1997m sea level). A dam was added in the 1950ies, so today the lake holds even more water.

For the fishing enthusiasts there are plenty of fresh trout to be caught!
