Narva

Narva is located on the river Narva at the Russian border and is at the eastern most extreme point of Estonia. Narva has a long history going back and was extensively damaged in world war two and rebuilt, now with classical Soviet-era architecture and many historical sites like the well preserved 15th century Narva Castle or Hermann Fortress. Narva is a melting pot of Estonian and Russian cultures and the beautiful river promenade is ideal for walking, cycling, fishing and other sports. The Narva College in the town square is housed in an ultra modern building.
