Brignogan-Plage

Brignogan-Plage or simply Brignogan; sometimes spelled Brignogan-Plages is a coastal town in the Finistère département, Brittany, France. Brignogan is 32 kilometers from Brest. Submarine telegraph cables between Cornwall and France came ashore at Brignogan. The common Brignogan-Plages is part of Canton Lesneven and the district of Brest. Distante of 36 km of Brest and 10 kilometres from the capital township Lesneven, it is limited to the west by Kerlouan, south and east by Plouneour-Trez, and north, its coastline, 5 km long opens on the Channel. The climate of the northern fringe of the Leon Country, which belongs Brignogan-Beaches, is typical ocean coastline.
