Nieuwvliet has the most beautiful beaches of zeeuws Flanders. Wide beaches where you can enjoy every season. Long beach walks to be enjoyed with your family on beautiful summery days. A life guard is available on the beach in summer ensuring that you can pleasantly enjoy swimmin in the sea.
Enjoy the summer sun and sea swims, build sand castles or simply enjoy food and drinks on the terrace of a sociable beach pavilion.
On certain parts of the beach find fossils from shells to sharks - and sting rays. At night after your walk drink in the splendid sunset.
On the beach you can rent a bath cabin where you can cover yourself and your children or just simply lie and rest. These cabins can be rented for limited time periods and you don't have to lug your beach cabin to your house everyday.
Near the nature area is the flooded black polder with a beautiful dune landscape where a guide will bring you up to speed about the flora and fauna of this nature area. Spread across the beach are orientation piles, with very recognizable ninja figures. These give your children a recogniotn point on the beach. The children then know exactly where their parents are sitting on the beach. This way very few children go astray, and you can, just like your children in abundance enjoy the beach at Nieuwvliet.
