The Wildlife Research Foundation in Patten, Maine are a group of dedicated biologists that have been studying black bears in the state of Maine, and every year they trek through Maine's Forest to track down the bears with radio collars, thus contributing to the success of wildlife research. With a passion for Black Bears, these biologists have also embarked on a camera project whereby live streaming video is transmitted from remote locations, so people can actually watch the hibernation of a wild Black Bear in her natural environment and witness the birth of her newborn cubs. They also offer bear tours with scheduled visits to bear dens to view them in their natural habitats.READ MORE
