Sourced with thanks from En.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mantoloking,_New_Jersey Mantoloking is located South of Point Pleasant Beach and Beach passes are available only on a seasonal basis at Borough Hall on Downer Avenue.. Please note that the borough beach is unprotected, so the beach crowd consists of mostly local residents from the surrounding area.

There are also NO restroom or bathouse facilities located nearby, so the crowd usually consists of older beach people with a noticable lack of children. The Beach itself is accessed by wooden walkways over the sand dunes at the ends of the borough streets. Surfing is permitted for an additional fee on top of the seasonal beach pass fee and is permitted only during specific hours which are posted in Borough Hall. Street parking is limited to a two hour maximum time limit and food or drink are prohibited on the beach. Dogs are permitted, if leashed. The Mantoloking Beach and South Mantoloking Beach Associations also offer beaches from Herbert Street south to Albertson Street, and in the Downer Avenue area with the same conditions as the borough beach.
