Port Arthur is located on a beautiful natural harbour, which the road caresses on the journey south, This can be explored on a cruise or even by seaplane which operate here.. A little further south from the town is 'Remarkable Cave' which can be accessed at low tides. To the north at The Bush Mill a narrow gauge steam train offers spectacular views, despite the short journey. There is an abundance of accommodation in this unique town.

Eaglehawk Neck is a narrow isthmus connecting the Tasman Peninsula to mainland Tasmania. Locally known as the Neck the isthmus itself is around 400 metres long and under 30 metres wide at its narrowest point. It forms a natural gateway to the peninsula that was utilised by the British in 1830s when a line of dogs was chained to posts across the neck to warn of any convicts attempting to escape the prison at Port Arthur. The area was heavily patrolled by soldiers, and the guards' quarters still remains as a museum. Many attempts were made by prisoners to escape via the neck, including those of Martin Cash.

Narvik is a town and municipality in Nordland county, Norway. Narvik is located on the shores of the Narvik Fjord. The municipality is part of the Ofoten traditional region of North Norway, inside the arctic circle.

Stokmarknes is a small town on the island of Hadsel in Nordland, Norway. It is the municipality centre of the Hadsel municipality.
