Bay Bulls is a fishing community and was established because of its closeness to the rich fishing grounds on the Grand Banks. Due to its proximity to St. John\'s is population is becoming more of a bedroom community for people employed there. Bay Bulls has been at the forefront of many strategies such as fish farming and lately servicing the Oil and Gas industry.

Holyrood is a town on the Avalon Peninsula in Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. It is in Division No. 1, on Conception Bay.

Conception Bay South is a Canadian town and is currently the third largest population centre in the province ahead of the City of Corner Brook and behind the City of Mount Pearl. The community corresponds largely, but not exactly, to the boundaries of the electoral district of the same name. The current mayor is Woodrow "Woody" French.
