Portsmouth is a city located in the county of Hampshire on the south coast of England. Portsmouth is the UK's only island city and is located on Portsea Island. It is commonly nicknamed Pompey.

This is the longest stretch of beach on the Island and the home of two of the Islands premier holiday resorts Sandown and Shanklin. Sandown Bay is probably the most lively and popular of the two although both have superb facilities. Miles of uninterrupted golden sand set against the picturesque backdrop of Culver Cliffs makes this beach a great place for both views and basking in the sun.

Shanklin shares the bay with Sandown but although it has all the seaside resort amenities it has a quieter ambiance about it. Swanage is a small coastal town in the south east of Dorset, England. It is situated at the eastern end of the Isle of Purbeck, approximately 10 km south of Poole and 40 km east of Dorchester. The town has a population of 10,124 (2001). Nearby are Ballard Down, Old Harry Rocks, with Studland Bay to the north and Durlston Country Park to the south.

Bracklesham Bay is a coastal bay on the west side of the Manhood Peninsula in West Sussex, England. The bay looks out onto the English Channel and the Isle of Wight is visible from the beach, as is the Nab Tower. The bay is sandy and backed with shingle. The beach is popular with windsurfers, divers, surfers and fossil hunters, as the Bracklesham Beds, a well known fossil bed is visible at low tide. The bedrock is London clay, and bits of the clay can be found on the sands.

Southbourne is a suburb of Bournemouth. It is the most easterly part of the borough, between Boscombe and Christchurch, Dorset. The area was previously known as Stourfield.

Southampton is the largest city in the county of Hampshire, on the south coast of England. Southampton is a major port and the closest city to the New Forest. It lies at the northernmost point of Southampton Water where it is joined by the River Test and River Itchen, with the River Hamble joining to the south of the urban area.

Cowes is an English seaport town on the Isle of Wight, an island south of Southampton. Cowes is located on the west bank of the estuary of the River Medina facing the smaller town of East Cowes on the east Bank.

Bosham is a small coastal village and civil parish in the Chichester District of West Sussex, England, situated three miles (5km) west of Chichester on an inlet of Chichester Harbour. Bosham is renowned for its sailing. The Bosham Sailing Club has recently celebrated its centenary having been formed in 1907.

Hamble-le-Rice, more commonly known as Hamble, is located in Hampshire on the south coast of England.
