Bakoven
Under the heights of the majestic Twelve Apostles mountain range and right on the Atlantic Ocean, lies Bakoven, a quaint cove that offers the most idyllic holiday destination in Cape Town. Bakoven has two small beaches with pure white sand and shallow turquoise bays sheltered between outcrops of rocks. The name Bakoven originates from a hole in one of the large granite boulders that lie just offshore the coastline, which reminded the original settlers of a bake oven.
