Cape Porpoise, Maine is a small coastal village in the town of Kennebunkport, Maine, United States. It is northeast of Kennebunkport Village and Southwest of Goose Rocks Beach. The Old Norse name was Dunrøstar høfdi, it means "The Head onto the Thunderous Noise", referring to the noise of Sumburgh Roost.
