Portobello is a beach resort located three miles (5 km) to the east of the city centre of Edinburgh, along the coast of the Firth of Forth, in Scotland. Coldingham Bay is an inlet in the North Sea coast, just over three km north of the town of Eyemouth in the Scottish Borders. It is situated at grid reference NT918666 and is easily reached by a minor road which leaves the B6438 road at Coldingham.

The Royal Burgh of North Berwick is a seaside town in East Lothian, Scotland. It is situated on the south shore of the Firth of Forth, approximately 25 miles east of Edinburgh. North Berwick became a fashionable holiday resort in the 19th century because of its two sandy bays, the East (or Milsey) Bay and the West Bay, and continues to attract holiday makers to this day. Golf courses at the ends of each bay are open to visitors.

Dirleton is a village and parish in East Lothian, Scotland approximately 20 miles (32 km) east of Edinburgh on the A198. It contains 7,500 acres (30 km2). Dirleton lies between North Berwick (east), Gullane (west), Fenton Barns (south) and the Yellowcraigs nature reserve, Archerfield Estate and the Firth of Forth (north).

Crail is built around a harbour, and has a particular wealth of vernacular buildings from the 17th to early 19th centuries, many restored by the National Trust for Scotland. The Crail Golfing Society is the seventh oldest in the world. Their oldest course, Balcomie, was formally laid out by Tom Morris Sr. in 1894, but competitions had been played there since the 1850s.

The Royal Burgh of Dunbar is a burgh in East Lothian on the southeast coast of Scotland, approximately 30 miles east of Edinburgh. Dunbar is noted as the birthplace of the explorer, naturalist and conservationist John Muir. Located to the northwest of the town is the John Muir Country Park.

Falkirk lies at the junction of the Forth and Clyde Canal and the Union Canal, a location which proved pivotal to the growth of Falkirk as a centre of heavy industry during the Industrial Revolution. Today Falkirk functions as the principal retail and administrative centre for the wider Falkirk Council area.

GLASGOW is the largest city in Scotland and third most populous in the United Kingdom. The city is situated on the River Clyde in the country's west central lowlands. A person from GLASGOW is known as a Glaswegian, which is also the name of the local dialect.

The town offers a wide variety of attractions including:- museums, galleries, shops, restaurants, pubs and a selection of beautiful parks. Derwent Water, the most picturesque lake in Cumbria is only a ten-minute stroll, where you can catch the regular ferry to any of the six jetties around the lake. From there you can walk on Cat Bells, Maiden Moor and the many other beautiful fells, or visit Ashness Bridge, Lodore Falls and the village of Grange.

Cockermouth is a town that lies at the confluence of the River Cocker as it flows into the River Derwent. It is located on the northwest fringe of the English Lake District. Landmarks include the sizeable but partly ruined Norman castle, the home of Pamela, Lady Egremont. Built at the confluence of the Rivers Cocker and Derwent, the castle has a tilting tower which hangs Pisa-like over Jennings Brewery. The castle, with its preserved dungeons, is only opened to the public once a year during the annual town festival.

Bassenthwaite Lake is one of the largest lakes in the Lake District of England. It is long and narrow, approximately 4 miles (6.4 km) long and 3/4 mile wide, but is also extremely shallow, with a maximum depth of about 70 feet (21 m). The lake lies at the foot of Skiddaw, near the town of Keswick.

The Isle of May, situated in the mouth of the Firth of Forth, is only one and a half kilometres long, yet is a haven for thousands of nesting sea birds and breeding seals who flourish on the steep sea cliffs and rocky shores. It has been a National Nature Reserve since 1965.

Machias is located in Washington County, Maine and is best known as the site of the first naval battle in the American Revolution.
