Granville is a commune in the Manche department in northwestern France. The residents are called Granvillais. Administratively, the island of Chausey is part of the commune of Granville, which includes a small harbour.  

Langrune-sur-Mer is a commune in the Calvados department in the Basse-Normandie region in northern France.

Caen is a commune in northwestern France. It is the prefecture of the Calvados department and the capital of the Basse-Normandie region. It is located 15 km (6 mi) inland from the English Channel.

The Bailiwick of Jersey is a British Crown dependency off the coast of Normandy, France. The parish covers a surface area of 4,354 vergées (7.8 km²). It borders Saint Clement, Saint Saviour and Saint Martin.

Saint Brelade is one of the twelve parishes of the bailiwick of Jersey. Its population is around 9,560, and it occupies the southwestern part of the Island. It is the only parish to border only one other parish, St. Peter. The parish is the second-largest parish by surface area, covering 7,103 vergées (3,157 acres or 12.78 km²), being 11% of the total land surface of the Island.

Bouley Bay in Jersey, Channel Islands is another small north coast harbour. It is particularly good for competent swimmers.  

St Peter Port is the capital of Guernsey as well as the main port.
