Florianopolis, the capital of the State of Santa Catarina, is located on the west coast of the Ilha (island) de Santa Catarina and is linked to the mainland by the longest suspension bridge in Brazil, the Hercilio Luz Bridge.

Ares is a city council of Ferrolterra in North-western Spain in the Province of A Coruña with an area of 18.51 km²(7.15 mi²).

Imbituba is a port and coastal town in the southern Brazil state of Santa Catarina and and it is about one hours drive from Florianopolis, Santa Catarina's capital.
