Povljana is located in a beautiful bay to the south of the island of Pag well protected from strong northern and southern winds. Between Povljana and the open sea there is a row of a small islands which divide two Croatian coastal regions: Kvarner and Dalmatia.

The island of VIR is situated about 25 km north-west from Zadar in North Dalmatia and is connected with the mainland by bridge. This 22,5 km large island, by the Italian name of "Punta Dura" (the stony strand), presents itself to the visitor by varigated sceneries, such as those of the rocky tracts of land interspersed with pines and vineyards, fig and olive trees.

The beauty of undisturbed nature, a variety of waters, flora and fauna that not only attract tourist from all over the world, but many experts as well. The waters of Zadar are a paradise for all kinds of sailing activities, thanks to an extremely indented shoreline, over 200 islands, islets, numerous straits, channels and coves.

Tribunj, an old Dalmatian town. Special for its oldest fishing fleet in middle Dalmatia, and special for its clean sea (according to official records, the sea in Tribunj is most probably cleanest on the Adriatic).
