Makarska is a small town on the Adriatic coastline of Croatia, about 60 km southeast of Split and 140 km northwest of Dubrovnik. Administratively Makarska has the status of a town and it is part of the Split-Dalmatia county.

Trogir has a high concentration of palaces, churches, and towers, as well as a fortress on a small island, and in 1997 was inscribed in the UNESCO World Heritage List. Trogir is the best-preserved Romanesque-Gothic complex not only in the Adriatic, but in all of Central Europe. One of the best stops on the Dalmatian coast.Trogir is not as well known as Dubrovnik or Split but rivals these cities in beauty.

Korcula, is an island in the Adriatic Sea, in the Dubrovnik-Neretva county of Croatia. The island has an area of 279 km2 - it is 46.8 km long and on average 7.8 km wide - and lies just off the Dalmatian coast.

Jelsa is a municipality in on the island of Hvar, Croatia. It is located in the Split-Dalmatia county. It has a population of 3,656 (2001 census), 96% which are Croats. Jelsa is surrounded by pine forests and hills in which hotels and resorts are evenly placed.
