Forres, is a town and former royal burgh situated in the north of Scotland on the Moray coast, approximately 30 miles east of Inverness. Aberlady is a coastal village in the Scottish council area of East Lothian located on Aberlady Bay.

Dirleton is a village and parish in East Lothian, Scotland approximately 20 miles (32 km) east of Edinburgh on the A198. It contains 7,500 acres (30 km2). Dirleton lies between North Berwick (east), Gullane (west), Fenton Barns (south) and the Yellowcraigs nature reserve, Archerfield Estate and the Firth of Forth (north).

Stonehaven is a town in Aberdeenshire, Scotland. It lies on Scotland's northeast coast. Stonehave, county town of Kincardineshire, grew around an Iron Age fishing village, now the "Auld Toon" ("old town"), and expanded inland from the Seaside.

Banff and Macduff are neighbouring towns situated on Banff Bay, both of which are former burghs in Aberdeenshire, Scotland. Until 1975 Banff was the county town of Banffshire.

Peterhead is a town in Aberdeenshire, Scotland. It is Aberdeenshire's largest settlement. Peterhead sits at the easternmost point in mainland Scotland. Peterhead is often referred to as 'The Blue Toon' and people who were born there as Blue Tooners.

Crail is built around a harbour, and has a particular wealth of vernacular buildings from the 17th to early 19th centuries, many restored by the National Trust for Scotland. The Crail Golfing Society is the seventh oldest in the world. Their oldest course, Balcomie, was formally laid out by Tom Morris Sr. in 1894, but competitions had been played there since the 1850s.

The historic town of Cullen lies in the east of Moray and is central to Inverness, the capital of the Highlands. Peterhead lies to the east and Aberdeen to the south. Cullen offers spectacular views across the Moray, Firth with a wonderful expanse of beach and visiting seals and dolphins.

Keith is a small town in the northeast of Scotland. The oldest part of Keith dates to around 1180.

The Isle of May, situated in the mouth of the Firth of Forth, is only one and a half kilometres long, yet is a haven for thousands of nesting sea birds and breeding seals who flourish on the steep sea cliffs and rocky shores. It has been a National Nature Reserve since 1965.

New Deer lies in the valley of Deer in Aberdeenshire, North East Scotland, and was originally founded after monks from Deer Abbey, Old Deer built a chapel at Auchreddie (which translates as "field of the bog myrtle").
