Whales and dolphins regularly play close to shore and there is boat access to the Gippsland Lakes at Seacombe and Loch Sport.Ninety Mile Beach is a beach located on the western coast of the far north of New Zealand's North Island of New Zealand. It stretches from just west of Kaitaia towards Cape Reinga along the Aupouri Peninsula. The name Ninety Mile Beach is a misnomer because it is actually 88 km (55 miles) long!

Mangonui is the ideal location to base your Northland holiday. Day trip to Cape Reinga, Ninety Mile Beach, Bay of Islands, the Kauri Forest or just relax at the safe Doubtless Bay beaches. You don't have to own a boat to go fishing, the Mangonui Wharf is great spot to drop a line. However, if you want to get further out on the water there are a great variety of boat or yacht charters for a great days fishing. Parua Bay is a locality and bay on the northern side of the Whangarei Harbour in Northland, New Zealand. Whangarei is 19 km to the west, and Whangarei Heads are 10 km to the south east, with Munro Bay between the two.
