Welcome to the 1774 Inn Bed and Breakfast, Phippsburg, United States. Having thoroughly enjoyed running this magnificent inn for the past 12 years, Joe and Debbie Braun are handing over the reins to new owners.
From mid-September 2008 Jackie Hogg and John Atkinson will be taking over, and will be looking forward to continuing to build on the 1774 Inn Bed and Breakfast's well deserved reputation as one of the most historic and hospitable inns in Maine.
Jackie is originally from Dublin, Ireland and an ex-British Airways cabin service director; John is from England and has spent many years in public relations, so they will be bringing an enticing blend of different cultures, expertise and ideas to their inn-keeping.
Jackie and John will be remodeling part of the 1774 Inn, Phippsburg, during this winter, but will be fully open for business as usual from 1 May for the whole of 2009 season. They are already taking bookings for 2009, but may also be able to accommodate a few guests over some weekends this winter.
