Alcomar Hotel, located in Gijon, Asturias, facing the Cantabric Sea, with a splendid view of San Lorenzo Beach.

The Alcomar Hotel opened in 1990 and it is placed in a building catalogued as historical. With a family and home environment, the Hotel?s facilities were renovated in 2005; since then, it has two different façades: one of them faces the seafront and the other is located in San Bernardo Street, one of the most commercial streets of the town.

Alcomar Hotel, a three-star Hotel, is a member of the Hotel Union and the town?s Tourist Society and we are specialized in offering our guests a personalised service in a peaceful environment.

The Hotel reception offers our guests a 24-hour attention, with two maxims: close and family treatment. We have washing and ironing service, fax and security boxes ready for our customers. Six different halls of various sizes, some of which have a capacity for 50 people. It is also possible to join some of the halls in order to hold company meetings.

Free internet connexion. A café with an independent entrance from the Hotel, which offers diverse mixed grills. After the renovation of the facilities, the Hotel?s 63 rooms have at one?s disposal a complete bathroom with a hairdryer, two telephones -both in the bathroom and in the room itself-, a free minibar, Canal+, satellite television and central heating. Some of the rooms also have air conditioning.

Among the seafront rooms, there are single rooms, double rooms, matrimonial rooms and a suite. Although smoking is not allowed in the building, there is one floor reserved for smokers.

At Gijon´s city centre...
There is just a five minutes walk from the Hotel to the sports port, which is connected with the other important Beach of Gijón: Poniente Beach. And we are also very close to the Town Hall, the old fishers neighbourhood, the Roman hot baths, the Revillagigedo Palace and some of the most emblematic museums of the town.

The main commercial axes of the town are also located in this area, from where you can reach the bus and train stations on foot in a few minutes . Leisure resorts, restaurants, and typical ?sidrerías? (cider houses) shape an wonderful environment.
