Many individuals and families are unable to come to Arizona Capitol Museum during the week because of work and other commitments. Now they may enjoy the Capitol Museum on Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Treat yourself to unhurried time with favorite exhibits or take a self-guided tour of the entire 1901 original Capitol building. Enjoy a snack in the Ice Cream Parlor on the first floor and then cross the hall to the award-winning Museum Store where there is a treat for everyone.
Alice Duckworth, a well-known Museum educator is available to visit student classes and adult groups. She dresses in authentic costumes to bring history alive at your event.
The mission of the store at Arizona Capitol Museum is to enhance our guests' experience through excellent customer service and quality educational resources and products related to Museum themes. The store provides earned income to support the Museum programs and exhibit.
