Wander the grounds, orchard and gardens, and enjoy the sometimes whimsical, usually unexpected art by the owners, John and Mary Haydon. Patrons from all over the country have collected John's sculptures.
Two bedrooms, including a king-size bed in the master bedroom, and a day bed in the second bedroom. The full bath includes a shower, and a washer and dryer with ample shelving, stocked with linens and bath towels.
A fully equipped kitchen, with a coffee maker, microwave, full size refrigerator, stove, blender, toaster, tea kettle, pots and pans, everything you will need right down to the butter knife! Some basic food items are included for your arrival such as coffee, tea, sugar and salt.
The living room features large picture windows overlooking your own private park in the woods. A bamboo dining table sits in front of one of the windows, and a desk on the opposite wall is provided, in case you bring your work and/or computer with you. Internet access, cable TV, VCR and private phone line are included. And a long comfy sofa for two!
Outside enjoy the large deck that surrounds the house on the south and west sides. The west is partially enclosed with glass and has a roof enabling you to sit outside and enjoy any kind of weather. On the south side enjoy your coffee at the table and chairs and watch the sunrise peak over the trees... all with no one else in sight.
