William and Ann, your resident hosts at Avondale Guest House, offer a warm and friendly welcome to all their guests both old and new.  Situated in Keswick in the heart of the English Lake District, United Kingdom,  we are close to all amenities and are less than five minutes level walking from the town centre of  Keswick, or the parks whilst Derwentwater and the Theatre By The Lake are just a pleasant ten minute stroll away.

In our attractive dining room at  Avondale Guest House you can start the day with a full English breakfast chosen from our breakfast menu which will be cooked to order whilst you help yourself to a selection of juices, fruit and cereals from the buffet table.

Our cosy, comfortable lounge at  Avondale Guest House offers a variety of games to play, a selection of books to read or a place just to sit and relax and chat with your fellow guests.

All our bedrooms are en-suite, well appointed and have colour televisions, radio alarm clocks, hairdryers and complimentary tea/coffee making facilities and biscuits. An iron and ironing board are available at all times.

Avondale Guest House has a full fire certificate and to add to our guest's safety and comfort we follow a total non-smoking policy. Unfortunately we do not take children under 12 years of age and also regret we are unable to accommodate pets.

Guests have their own keys to come and go as they please.  We are open all year except during the Christmas period.
