Once the home of Mrs Guiness who later became Lady Manners, Waterford Lodge has a history going back many years. In 1907 the German Kaiser attempted to visit Mrs Guiness who was unfortunately not in residence at the time. The Hotel has been sympathetically extended and tastefully refurbished to offer a modern Hotel which still retains character, style and charm.


A stylish Hotel quietly situated in its' own grounds Waterford Lodge is just a 4 minute stroll from natural coastline.


Christchurch harbour, Mudeford Quay, Highcliffe Castle and the Medieval town of Christchurch are close by with the New Forest and the harbour town of Lymington a short drive away.



Fine Dining can be enjoyed in our beautifully appointed One Rosette Restaurant which overlooks the colourful garden. All courses are individually cooked to order in Modern English Style by our exciting Head Steve Lavender and his team.


Enjoy an aperitif in the lounge while choosing from our mouthwatering menu. Our Restaurant Manager Aristide Peroni will welcome you into the Restaurant and serve you in his customary Italian style.
